PARK AVENUE SINGERS is the premier chamber ensemble at Park Hill High School and represents a collection of the school's most versatile voices. In this ensemble, students build upon their previous choral experiences. The members are challenged with quality literature spanning from the Renaissance through music of the 20th century. A wide range of genres and styles are incorporated into the curriculum to ensure exposure to as many aspects of choral music as possible. While a great deal of attention is placed on the ensemble's collective sound, equal energy is placed on the development of each singers soloistic potential. Advanced skills in sight singing, vocal production and vocal independence are key to each member's success. Park Avenue Singers is the most visible of the five choral ensembles at Park Hill.
